So, I love Paul Klee...There is such a tremendous amount of lessons that can be made from any number of Klee's work. My 4th grade really enjoyed this lesson and they really grasped the idea of tints and shades in this lesson. Plus, this made for a pretty good segue into the color wheel. Here's a few finished examples:
